The Minister of Education in Albania, Mirela Kumbaro Furxhi, has confirmed reports that Liburn Aliu , a former minister in the Kurti 2 government, has been appointed head of the Port of Durres.
In a Facebook post, she said it is a choice made by Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku .

Very good news about the appointment of Liburn Aliu as head of the Port of Durres!
We have always said that Durrës is the common gateway to the Adriatic for both Albania and Kosovo, therefore there could be no better choice to embody this vision and feeling than Liburni, a patriot and experienced public functionary, with whom as former Minister of the Environment I had excellent cooperative relations during the time when he also headed the environmental and spatial planning sectors as Minister in Kosovo. A great choice Belinda Balluku Congratulations and may you fly with light wings!
