After the approval of the two Special Commissions for electoral and territorial reform, the leader of the Mundësia Party, Agron Shehaj, accused the SP and the DP of secretly bargaining.
In the Assembly, Agron Shehaj said that the reform aims to kill new parties.
"The Electoral Reform aims to kill new parties, to kill alternatives in this country, to kill democracy. I don't understand how the majority and the opposition get together and secretly set up a commission without including the new parties. You have only one goal, that after you have stolen together for 35 years, you continue to steal together, this is happening and this is what you will do, this will be the result of this shameful commission, agree together to steal together, this is what you will do with this commission," said Agron Shehaj.
Taulant Balla : I want to thank my colleagues from the majority and the opposition who have made it possible to negotiate the final text for the draft decision for the Electoral Reform Commission. It is impossible for all political parties to be included in a special commission. For the first time, we have included all parties. Those who have the Parliament as a night school do not understand what I am saying, because they do not know how to read. You lied to the public. You who do the interesting thing, during the day you meet with these people to find candidates. You sit with these people at the table and curse them. What is important for the SP parliamentary group is that they took steps to establish the commission. We must put an end to the way in which parties are financed in this country.
