The victory in the cities of Tirana and Vlora in the November 9 elections, with two female candidates Ogerta Manastirliu and Brunilda Mersini, is seen by the Socialist Party leader Edi Rama as undisputed. Mentioning the leadership of Manastirliu in the QSUT and of MP Mersini in the Vlora regional hospital, Prime Minister Edi Rama says that both are winners of the race, while he ironically mocked their opponents by saying that they are another example of the Democratic Party's defeat.

"It is an absolute novelty of the early local elections that two women are running for Tirana and Vlora, two first-class cities for Albania, which will be led by two women, who have a very similar career in a certain period when they have respectively led the rebirth of the University Hospital Center and the Vlora Regional Hospital, two realities completely transformed thanks to their managerial capacity and especially their iron will. They are both undisputed winners of the races, where the opponents represent the most meaningful example of the next defeat, the sorry Democratic Party", said Prime Minister Rama.

For the first time, in the 'Flasim' podcast, Rama also comments on the opposition's candidacy for Tirana, Florian Binaj, a comic artist who was once known for his performances in Portokalli for impersonating Prime Minister Rama.

"The swamp is so desperate, that Tirana has brought out a comedian in the role of a supposedly independent candidate, who for years has made everyone laugh, even the Socialist Party Congress itself, where he once came to play my role.

"Therefore, I do not judge the actor at all badly for the new role he has taken on, because actors have this job, they live with roles. But whoever votes for me and the Socialist Party will vote for Ogerta, to give Tirana the right leader and the government the right partner at the head of the municipality, to continue the transformative work for the capital of Albania 2030", said Rama.
