A sensational event recorded about 4-5 years ago in the village of Dorëz in Librazhd was accidentally discovered through wiretaps by the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK).

It concerns the theft of 200 thousand euros from an apartment and the taking of a person hostage by the perpetrators, in order to prevent his family from notifying the Police.

This incident was discovered during the wiretapping of the file where the head of the Public Procurement Commission, Jonaid Myzyri, is being investigated, who has been charged with the criminal offense of "Violation of equality of participants in public tenders or auctions".

During the wiretaps, KPP officer Lindita Skeja, who is also under investigation for the case in question, talks to her family members about the theft of 200 thousand euros from their apartment.

She also appears concerned about the kidnapping of her brother by masked robbers, who fled with the money and the family member so as not to notify the police.

But, despite the fact that this event was discovered by SPAK, it was also denounced 4 years ago by the leader of the DP, Sali Berisha.

In a post on social media on May 30, 2021, Berisha denounced the theft of millions of pounds from the Skeja family by an armed gang in police uniform.

Berisha considered the Skeja family to be friends of Taulant Balla, while he accused the now-repentant SPAK member, Nuredin Dumani, and the leader of one of the Elbasan gangs, Suel Çela, of being the perpetrators of the robbery.

Hello doctor! I received information, confirmed by 2 sources. A terrifying super robbery was committed in Librazhd at dawn on Saturday. Millions of pounds were robbed from friends of Taulant Balla with the surname Skeja. What makes the robbery frightening is not only the extremely large amount of money stolen, but the manner of the robbery. The robbery gang was not only armed, but was dressed in police uniforms and used police equipment. According to very reliable information, the robbery was carried out by the Rinas gang in collaboration with another friend of Taulant Balla, the leader of the Elbasan gang, Suel Çela. At the head of the operation to rob millions of pounds was the alleged wanted criminal Nuredin Dumani. What makes the situation even more serious is that the police, under the orders of Suel Çela, hid this event, where in order to carry out the robbery in police uniform, the gang kidnapped a person from the Skeja family. "With such logistics and support from the state, the gang is a threat to national security, because with police clothing and equipment, they can kidnap anyone, anytime," Berisha wrote at the time.

SPAK has contacted the Elbasan and Librazhd Police, requesting information on whether there have been any complaints from citizens about the robbery in question.

The prosecution has raised doubts about the source of the stolen money, while in the testimony given to SPAK, the KPP official stated that the money was sent by relatives living in Greece.
