The wave of resignations and dismissals in local government continues after the ultimatum of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who has requested refreshments in municipal staff across the country.

Finally, the municipality affected by the resignations is that of Saranda.

All directors of the Municipality of Saranda have resigned.

But, a stalemate is emerging in the Municipality of Konispol. The Mayor of Konispol, Ergest Dule, has refused to dismiss the directors under his command.
