Xhafaj, signal to Rama: The backbone of the government is breaking, reflection
Fatmir Xhafaj and Edi Rama

The relationship between Prime Minister Edi Rama and MP Fatmir Xhafaj continues to be cold. Since he was dismissed as Minister of the Interior, Xhafaj has shot at the government quite a few times, but always without crossing the "red line". Rama left Xhafaj out of the safe lists in the last elections, but the former minister returned the 'resto' by breaking the quotient and thus entering the Parliament.

In an interview on A2CNN, Xhafaj said last night that the majority should make a reflection. "It is the moment for the majority to make a deep reflection, in the conditions of this new social and political reality ", said the former Minister of the Interior Fatmir Xhafaj, calling on the Prime Minister Edi Rama to show wisdom in the orientation of the power of great political power that the Socialist Party has in its hands.

"You have a political reality where the opposition is very weak, to its misfortune and the misfortune of this country. Even to the detriment of this majority because it does not have a mirror in front of it. It has given him a great power that is impossible to control with a phone or with an individual, whoever he is, however superman he may be. The need to reflect on this responsibility is a very fair thing and the prime minister has done very well. I carefully followed his speech on the 32nd anniversary of the SP and the first one who should reflect is the prime minister himself as he has the responsibility of political leadership to direct this power of this political force and to be able to carry this burden without too much cost gave me. That the burden when the back is weak breaks you in the middle. And what is happening to the opposition could happen to us," he said.

According to Xhafaj, Rama has understood that the majority must continue to be stable in this political environment. Xhafaj pointed out that he realized that Rama is worried and maybe reflecting.

"From the statements made by the prime minister, I understand that he is worried and maybe reflecting. And I want to see them throw serious reflections on the table. In some cases, there is no need to do some make up of the car, but also to completely renew it. I hope he has the wisdom to realize it" , he emphasized.

Already prominent as the politician who creates problems for Prime Minister Rama by creating cracks in the majority, Xhafaj also spoke about the internal rivalry in the SP, stressing that it is useful in conditions where it does not turn into a conflict.

"I think that SP will continue to remain a reliable and leading force in this country as long as there is a good harmonization of generations. How long will it take to integrate well the 3 or 4 generations within the political formation. And healthy rivalries and competitions without turning into conflict are healthy. Ambitions are also normal things. Within the SP, there are men and women who deserve to have this ambition" , said the former Minister of the Interior.
