The government hastened to announce before the local elections on May 14 the salary increase for the administration.
But today, 3 months after the decision, some of the budget holders have not yet enjoyed the "supplement" announced with great fanfare by the Government.
According to the Government's decision, the budget employees in the month of April would benefit from a salary supplement, divided according to categories.
However, this did not happen then. It didn't happen in May and it didn't happen in June either.
With a smile on her face after the Government meeting on June 16, the Minister of Finance, Delina Ibrahimaj, explained that "next week, all institutions will pay salary increases to employees for the months of April and May. Meanwhile, from next month they will receive increased salaries according to the decision of the Council of Ministers".
But even after this statement, it is learned that teachers throughout the country have not yet received the promised supplement.
It is not known whether the delay is due to bureaucratic procedures or whether the government is in a financial crisis...
