In a televised statement a few days ago, Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about a gift he was expecting from the USA on July 4, which coincides with his birthday and the Independence of the United States of America.

The statement raised speculation that the gift could be the liberalization of visas for Albanians. But when asked by reporters at the last press conference about this, Rama did not give details, but said that the gift he was hoping for may not please everyone.

Vox News exclusively learns that the gift the Prime Minister is expecting is a visit from former US President Bill Clinton on July 4th.
