DP MP Gazment Bardhi has responded to the Constitutional Court, following its reaction immediately after the second postponement of the session on the confiscation of properties with VKM.

Bardhi describes the GJK as a subordinate of the government for the VKM that legalizes constructions without permission of the oligarchs.

In a statement to the media, the Constitutional Court called on the parties to exercise self-restraint, thus referring to the accusations issued by the general secretary of the DP, Gazment Bardhi.

" I see that the Constitutional Court is worried about its trust in the public after my statement today in the session that the Court has fallen prey to Edi Rama's blackmail. Public trust is not established by political statements, but by implementing the law and the Constitution. It is not set by multiple standards, nor by behaving like government subordinates and mercenaries of oligarchs, as this Court has recently done. How can the Constitutional Court establish trust in the public, when it is not impartial and overturns its own decisions in these 30 years of existence? ", says Bardhi.

Bardhi further states that the Constitutional Court is giving time to the government and is serving it by making excuses so that the government can adopt a new law on this issue, as well as giving time to "the oligarchs to arrange their papers and benefit in unconstitutional legalization of illegal properties and amnesty from criminal proceedings".

" Today, this Court did not accept that we, as petitioners for the repeal of the VKM that legalizes constructions without permission of the oligarchs, be insulted by the authorization of the Chairman of the parliamentary group, but by the signatures of the petitioning 28 MPs. An unprecedented case since this Court exists in democracy.

Në 3 dekada, sa herë PD apo PS ka depozituar një çështje në Gjykatën Kushtetuese, deputetët janë përfaqësuar me autorizim të Kryetarit të Grupit. Sot, Gjykata Kushtetuese e ndryshoi këtë standard që t’i shërbejë sërish qeverisë dhe oligarkëve.

Si mund t’i besojnë shqiptarët kësaj gjykate, kur Gjykata veproi ndryshe për përfaqësimin tonë psh. për kërkesën për Bordin e Ushqimeve, për Bordin e Karburanteve, për kërkesën për mandatin e Olta Xhaçkës, për Komisionin Hetimor Becheti dhe me qindra çështje të tjera përgjatë 30 viteve. Pse për këto çështje mjaftonte autorizmi i kryetarit te grupit, ndërsa sot nuk mjaftonte?

Përgjigja është e thjeshtë. Gjykata Kushtetuese po i jep kohë qeverisë dhe po i shërben asaj duke nxjerrë këto justifikime qesharake në mënyrë që qeveria të miratojë një ligj të ri për këtë çështje, si dhe ti jap kohë oligarkëve të rregullojnë letrat dhe të përfitojnë në mënyrë antikushtetuese legalizim të pronave të paligjshme dhe amnisti nga procedimi penal.

This law reveals the lack of integrity of constitutional judges to decide independently on a case where they know that the Constitution and laws of the country have been openly violated. I invite the members of the Constitutional Court to give up dependence on Edi Rama, not to submit to the pressure and blackmail of the Prime Minister and his oligarchs !", declares Bardhi.
