President Donald Trump's nominee for United States Ambassador to Albania, Eric Wendt, will appear tomorrow at 4:00 PM, before the Foreign Relations Committee in the US Senate, as required by the procedure for his confirmation.
During the hearing, the priorities and objectives of US-Albania relations, cooperation in the field of defense, as well as developments in the Western Balkans region are expected to be discussed.
Eric Wendt is a former three-star general in the US Army and former commander of NATO special forces, with a career spanning over 34 years in the US military.
He has held important positions in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, being considered a figure with extensive experience in security issues and international operations.
