Gunshots were recorded in the early hours of this Saturday morning in Pune. It is suspected that the event has a political background, since the candidate of the socialists and at the same time the president in office, Gjon Gjoni, has accused that supporters of the socialists were shot. 

He makes the candidate of the "Bashke Fitomje" coalition, Rrok Dodaj, responsible. In a status made on social networks, Gjoni says that SP supporters were threatened with a weapon and while leaving, the vehicle they were traveling in was shot in the air. Gjoni adds that his candidate is putting pressure on the citizens by means of gun threats to get the vote.

" Puka after many years, close to midnight last night, I heard gunshots, which were fired in the city by those who were imported for payment by the candidate without the opposition party, tried to break the tradition of Puka. After the supporters of the Socialist Party have threatened 
you and the Armenian, on the way, was shot in the air by the vehicle they were traveling with. 
But can the people of Pukyan be pressured in their home?! Forget this, Rroku thinks that he can take the town hall under the pressure of weapons. Here is the vision and strategy through which he seeks to come to power. Puka has shown citizenship, prudence and calmness in every situation, including election campaigns, and Rroku will not be able to spoil this, nor will the people with precedent that he has brought to Puka for a fee. I call on the State Police to clarify the incident immediately by using the evidence found after this incident. 
I make a sincere plea to all our supporters that these days they avoid the provocations of those who think that Puka votes under the threat of guns by mercenaries who have landed from other cities with the purpose of intimidation. Can this happen?! Never No! Even those from Puk who were in that car will quickly feel the burden of responsibility for breaking this tradition of coexistence and harmony that characterizes Puk.
For all Albanians, I want to make a clarification: This is not Puka, it is not an event that happens by the people of Puk. As we have proven, we are a peaceful and hospitable people, and this is shown by the fact that no gun has been fired in Pukë for dozens of years. 
This is the candidate who claims to take over the leadership of the municipality, which along with the defeat on May 14, will also take responsibility for such actions that spoil the image of Puka on the eve of this tourist season", the statement says .
