Analyst Kreshnik Spahiu says that the Special Prosecutor's Office will make two sensational arrests, right after the May 14 elections. According to him, one is Edi Rama's right wing, while the other is a senior opposition figure.
In a direct link with Euronews Albania, Spahiu did not name names, but said that it is certain that Sali Berisha will not be the senior opposition figure who will be arrested.
"SPAK is expected to make two sensational arrests, a very very high-level socialist and a high-level oppositionist again. Both files and criminal proceedings have been ready and have been hindered due to the electoral campaign.
I have doubts that Edi Rama has some kind of influence. Regarding these two names, what I can tell you is that it is not Sali Berisha.
Berisha has received all guarantees from Edi Rama who will be his rival in 2025 because that is what interests him. That's part of their deal. The other two individuals are very high. One of them is Edi Rama's right wing and Sali Berisha's right wing", said Kreshnik Spahiu.
