The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, at the weekly conference with journalists, spoke again about the "McGonigal" case.

He called on the FBI and the American Congress to reveal the details of former official Charles McGonigal's connections with Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"A revolt, which will undoubtedly erupt with the greatest political and civic power for the urgent removal from the political scene of the de facto most corrupt prime minister of the planet, who has escaped, has disappeared for 48 hours. The head of the DP emphasized that Rama also used McGonigal's predecessor against the opposition.

McGonigal has not chosen Tirana by chance, however I I call on the FBI and the Congress to investigate with the greatest seriousness what are the points that united Edi Rama with McGonigal. I add here that in the group of persons being investigated by the American side is also McGonigal's predecessor, Louis Bladell, who has signed contracts with the government of Edi Rama, who turns out to be directly implicated, according to some data, in battles against the opposition.But also the San Francisco grand jury which has ordered the investigation of any material or person, personal communication, including McGonigal's associate, Louis Bladeli contracted by Edi Rama, including Edi Rama and not only," said Berisha.
