Rama: Albanian youth are used by criminals, they didn't bring the drugs,
Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is on an official visit to Great Britain, has again focused on the issue of illegal immigrants and the prejudice against them.

The head of the government said that his problem is not with Albanians coming to Britain, but when Albanians are used in their dreams and hopes by criminals.

' We are very sorry! We will not end the strategic partnership we have with a country like Britain. We have a very good communication and cooperation. I don't think life is interesting when you live to say nice words that you don't actually mean. I see not only words but also deeds from the British Prime Minister. There is something very important happening that we have been looking for for a long time.

We have always said that we need to build a common operational gateway to attack criminal networks. After my conversation with the Prime Minister on the phone, this is happening. My problem is not that Albanians come to Britain, but when Albanians are used in their dreams and hopes by criminals.

I have no problem with Britain's borders being closed, but we should not let young Albanians be used by criminals. The Albanian-British community is fantastic. Being under the pressure of some rotten apples in front of you. Albanian criminals did not bring crime here, they did not bring drugs here, but they found the market here. If the British counterparts will listen to us, this will be very successful. But you single out the Albanians! - said Rama.
