Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Great Britain where he is conducting an official visit, the first official visit of an Albanian Prime Minister in London.

Before the meeting with the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, the head of the Albanian government Edi Rama was received in a meeting by the speaker of the Assembly of the United Kingdom, Lindsay Hoyle.

In a post on social networks, Rama gave details of the meeting where he shows that Hoyle expressed regret for the disturbing rhetoric towards Albanians.

"Meeting with the Speaker of the Assembly of the United Kingdom, Lindsay Hoyle, who expressed regret for the disturbing rhetoric towards Albanians and underlining the necessity of the common fight against criminal networks, emphasized the undeniable values ​​of the Albanian community in Britain, as well as elevated the role of Albania in the international arena", writes Rama.

During this meeting, Rama was accompanied by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj and the Minister of the Interior, Bledi Çuçi.
