The Socialist Party will hold an expanded meeting of the parliamentary group on Saturday, at 10:00 am, at the Brigades Palace.
The notice of the meeting was sent to the deputies only a short while ago.
The meeting comes at a sensitive political moment, when for two weeks now, citizen protests have been taking place in the country against the planned project in Zvërnec and changes to the law on protected areas.
Also, the meeting takes place at a time when the majority is also facing the departure of a member of parliament from its ranks, that of Marjana Koçek, who headed the Socialist list of Shkodra.
The meeting also marks the return of the monthly meetings of the socialist parliamentary group, which have not been held since April.
The group's last meeting was held in April, and now the socialists are returning to the usual format of political consultations.
The meeting is expected to be attended by majority MPs, while the focus will be on issues related to the political agenda and government priorities for the coming period.
