Minister Nufi in Brussels: Albania, a reliable ally in NATO and a factor of

Minister of Defense, Ermal Nufi, participated in the Meeting of Defense Ministers of NATO member countries, held in Brussels, where the Alliance's main priorities for strengthening collective security in the Euro-Atlantic area were discussed.

The focus of the discussions was on increasing operational readiness, strengthening defense capacities, and adapting to new international security challenges.

In a public statement, Minister Nufi emphasized the importance of cooperation between allies and the modernization of the armed forces as a guarantee of peace and stability.

"Cooperation between allies, investments in defense and modernization of military capabilities are the strongest guarantee for peace, security and the protection of our common values," he said.

He also reiterated Albania's commitment within NATO, describing the country as a reliable ally and a factor of stability in the region and beyond.

"Albania will continue to make its uninterrupted contribution with responsibility and determination within NATO as a committed and reliable ally," Nufi declared.

The meeting in Brussels comes at a time when the Alliance is intensifying discussions on increasing defense spending and strengthening military capabilities in the face of global security challenges.
