Hearings with citizens take place every Friday, at 5:00 PM, behind closed doors, without photos and cameras, in order for citizens to freely express their concerns, while respecting their privacy.

All district leaders have taken stock of how many complaints they have collected from citizens and how many of them have been referred for resolution.

"The idea is not simply for us to take on the problems and solve them. The idea here is for this process to continue as well as possible. To continue according to the objectives and plans," Rama said.

This new mechanism for communicating with citizens came as a result of the continuous protests of citizens, who, as the Prime Minister himself said, have not only not been heard, but have also been ignored by local and central government officials.

Excerpts from the discussions at Rama's meeting with regional leaders

Blendi Klosi: It is worth noting that in the second week, the number of listeners has increased by over 50%. From 80 in the first week, there are now 149, marking an increase.

Niko Peleshi: Korça Municipality out of 263 in total, has 118 cases. 45% are related to Korça Municipality as a territory. 85 from Pogradec and 57 cases from Kolonja. The process is working and has gained credibility.

Taulant Balla: The reconstruction process has been completed in Kamëz with 1,200 beneficiaries.

Belinda Balluku: All complaints in total are 431. We have set ourselves a goal to increase the number of complaints resolved in the coming week.

Ulsi Manja: 38 complaints have come in this second week, 100% of the cases for both of these Fridays have been referred for resolution by MPs.

Ogerta Manastirliu: We have met with over 1200 participants. It is a process that is going well, participation is increasing week by week for individual issues, but also for the community part.

Enea Karakaçi: In two weeks, 172 complaints have been filed, they are mostly of an individual nature, people have received it very well.

Bledi Çuçi: A total of 179 complaints have been received in Vlora. E-mails coming from MPs should have maximum priority.

Arbjan Mazniku: The system is now fully functional, all emails have been sent to all institutions, 31 of them have received responses.

Mirela Kumbaro: I think we should bring together similar issues from different regions and categorize them with some kind of priority.

Ervin Demo: The two-three weeks we have ahead will be critical to then consolidate something that is as functional as possible.

Edi Rama: The idea is not simply for us to take on the challenges and solve them. The idea here is for this process to continue as well as possible. To continue according to the objectives and plans.
