The exit of Arben Ahmetaj from the Albanian territory, through the Kakavijë border point, has put the State Police into question. The police structure has been notified by SPAK since Friday for the continuous monitoring and surveillance of the country's former deputy prime minister, Arben Ahmetaj.

But this information sent by SPAK to the State Police, there are doubts that it was de-conspired by giving Arben Ahmetaj the opportunity to leave Albania, without giving the agents the opportunity to keep him under surveillance.

On Friday, Ahmetaj turns out to have booked a plane ticket online from Rinas to Italy. But it seems that such an action was used as a trick to remove attention, since this ticket was not used on Friday by Ahmetaj.

This is because it turned out that Ahmetaj left Albania on the same day, but using the border point of Kakavija. On the other hand, sources near SPAK said that they could not place a restriction and stop order on the TIMS border system, since such a thing is illegal without obtaining permission from the court.

"...the police have been given the task of keeping him under surveillance, and such a thing has not been done..." - said a source near SPAK.

But the same source clarified that even if the police kept him under surveillance, the blue uniforms of the border, the operational group itself and the SPAK prosecutors themselves, had no legal opportunity to arrest Ahmetaj, without obtaining approval from the Assembly and the Court.
