The Socialist Party, the Berisha-Meta coalition and the Agrarian Environmentalist Party are the only political forces that will have candidates for municipal council members in all 61 municipalities of the country. As for the Democratic Party, the official logo of the largest opposition force in the country will be missing in 4 municipalities, even though it was actually promised that they would run in all of Albania. The Democratic Party will have its lists in 57 municipalities and will be absent in Vorë, Roskovec, Dropull and Pustec.

Report Tv has also learned that PSD in 60 municipalities while PDIU will compete in 53 municipalities with its lists. As for the other main political forces, it can be said that PR will compete in 58 municipalities, LZHK in 53, PLL in 54.

Meanwhile, as far as the mayoral race is concerned, even though 8 days have passed since the deadline for submitting names from political parties ended, the Democratic Party still does not have an accurate number of how many municipalities have competed. 22 are the names that have been changed, while 6 have been withdrawn or not approved by the Presidency of the DP.

We remind you that the last candidate from the Democratic Party was Gjergji Gjata, who was appointed by DP as a candidate for the Municipality of Korça. He withdrew from the race together with the municipal council candidates. Also, Lezha's candidate Sandër Marku withdrew from the race, and while they were not approved by the presidency, Bujar Vreto in Librazhd, Ibrahim Bruka in Vorë and Genc Doçi in Kurbin.

Until the list is made official with the formal registration in the CEC, Alibeaj publicly has the candidate of Tirana in the battleground, determined between dilemmas and clashes, Roland Bejko or even Agron Kapllanajn in Mallakastër, both fiercely attacked by Sali Berisha and the people close to him . 16 are still the candidates of the Democratic Party for mayors.
