DP candidate for Tirana: Berisha will inherit the party from Meta,
Berisha, Meta and Kelliçi

The official DP candidate for the Municipality of Tirana, Roland Bejko, invited to News 24, spoke about the May 14 elections and the "Together We Win" coalition. He said that former Prime Minister Sali Berisha may be planning to inherit the Democratic Party from the head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta.

In relation to Belind Kelliçi, who is a candidate of the "Together We Win" coalition, Bejko has considered him as a candidate of the LSI and the Communist Party.

Journalist: There are two right-wing candidates, one with the official, the other with the unofficial...

Bejko:The other with LSI and the Communist Party. Let's name it as it is, because they were not ashamed to name it. We are ashamed to mention them. They are in coalition with LSI and the Communist Party. Do you know why? Because Sali Berisha sees Ilir Meta as the most trusted person today and there is a possibility that the PD, the part of the PD that he took with him, will inherit from Ilir Meta and Ilir Meta, whether you like it or not, will choose the result this way. Because will these democrats that Saliu took with him go to vote? They will go. What will they bring out in the end? They will bring out the City Council and somewhere the mayor will win, somewhere they won't win, but the City Council will give Ilir Meta a weight, a political and public weight, because he will get numbers that he doesn't really have in his party, but will get them because of the votes that the Democrats will take there. Those who follow Sali Berisha I speak.
