PD wants Rama in the Parliament: Where is he? To come to account for the draft
Edi Rama and Oerd Bylykbashi

Prime Minister Edi Rama is absent from today's plenary session, as according to the democratic deputy Oerd Bylykbashi, he should be present and give an account regarding the draft of the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in the north of Kosovo.

Bylykbashi said that Albania should stand by Kosovo's side, but in fact it is harming it more seriously than international statements.

"What is the Albanian government doing? We are not for what is our duty, the representation of the sovereign. If there is an interest that is written in the preamble, it is the national interest. The constitution instructs us to enter into alliances for the protection of the national interest. We should have had the prime minister today to understand how we can use this alliance for national interest. Where is the prime minister? His consideration for the parliament is zero. He should have been here to account for what he has proposed to others and not to Kosovo. Actions that harm the national interest. Our national interest is in the north of Kosovo. This parliament must take the prime minister into account. This prime minister is putting Kosovo in a difficult negotiating position, instead of a strategic partner, a NATO ally acting in its interest, we do the opposite, we harm them. We support them and advise them, but not by putting them in a difficult position. We are harming Kosovo in the negotiations, we are putting them in difficult positions with heavier statements than the international partners",Bylykbashi said.

A few days ago, Prime Minister Edi Rama declared to journalists that he has prepared a draft statute for the Association, which he had sent to French President Macron and German Chancellor Scholz.
