Thursday's plenary session began and ended in chaos.
Amidst chaos and confusion, the 7 new members of the government cabinet were sworn in on Thursday in the Assembly. As voting began on each of the amendments, Berisha and other DP deputies took the floor.
For Albana Koçi as Deputy Prime Minister, Toni Gogu as Minister of Justice, Besfort Lamallari as Minister of Interior, Erjona Ismaili as Minister of State for Parliament, Ferit Hoxha as the new Chief Diplomat, Ermal Nufi as Minister of Defense, and for Enea Karakaçi, who replaces Belinda Balluku as Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, the Socialists' votes were also joined by the green cards of the Social Democratic Party deputies.
Hoxha, Karakaçi and Nufi, who are new to the government, watched the vote of confidence from the Assembly's boxes.
The new ministers will be sworn in by the President at 10:00, in a ceremony to be held at the Brigades Palace.
The Assembly also voted on the dismissals of former ministers, with the decree for Belinda Balluku receiving a qualified majority, 85 votes in favor of dismissal, more than the others.
Prime Minister Edi Rama did not attend the session to vote on the changes he proposed. Balluku himself was also absent, as with his dismissal from two government posts, he will now have to take a seat among the Socialist MPs.
