The Democratic Party has publicly denounced what it calls the latest scandal with the sterilization concession, which according to it, although it has passed under state administration, continues to create problems for citizens.
At a press conference by the Presidency of the Parliament, DP MP Bardh Spahia stated that citizens are encountering difficulties in conducting laboratory tests, describing the situation as worrying.
For this reason, the opposition has requested an interpellation in Parliament with the Minister of Health, Evis Sala.
" The Democratic Party requests an interpellation in Parliament on the issue of sterilization. The minister herself has publicly admitted that citizens do not have the opportunity to perform the tests ," said Spahia.
He also accused the government of, even in this case, seeking benefits through this now state-owned concession, calling on the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) to launch investigations.
" Why doesn't SPAK investigate the sterilization concession? The ministry itself admitted the situation. We demand an investigation into this case ," declared the Democratic MP from the Assembly headquarters.
