"You thief, you clown"/ Rama clashes with residents in Durrës: The apartments will be demolished, you are the DP!

After about two hours of meeting at the municipality with residents whose homes are affected by the TID project, Prime Minister Rama stated that he had a constructive conversation, but clarified that the project will move forward and will not be stopped.

Meanwhile, outside the municipality, Rama received protest calls from several citizens who claim to be affected by this project.

"You thief, you clown," they addressed him, while Rama told them that they had no connection, and that they were "DP", implying that they were politically motivated to be there.

"What citizens, you are the democratic party, these are the citizens, I am with them. You are the DP. I am with these people...", said Rama, addressing them.

Rama: We spoke with 34 citizens of Durrës, representatives of families who have this problem, for about two and a half hours. They are worried and we talked with them, a constructive conversation with different opinions, while 35 others there who do not even represent the city but the worries of an 80-something year old who has come from any kind of path of reason, create ridiculous situations and show where that party has fallen.

Regarding the real problem of the citizens, we have agreed on how we will move forward, both with the necessary verification of some objects that may have cultural value, and with compensation.

There will be demolition, the project will not be stopped, but we will do verifications for some houses that are claimed cultural heritage, and a flu of houses that have not received mortgage registration despite being there for many years. We have also discussed the issue of price internally and we will have to see the new references.
