The civic protests that began against the project in Zvërnec have entered their seventh day, while rallies and marches have spread not only to several cities in Albania, but also to important centers where the Albanian diaspora lives.
After the protest held in the morning in Zvërnec, the protesters gathered again in the afternoon around 6:00 PM at "Skënderbej" Square in Tirana.
As in previous days, they marched towards the Prime Minister's Office, where they continued their calls against the government and the project they oppose.
During the march, participants chant slogans such as: "Albania of Albanians, not of traitors," while also demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The protesters have made it clear that this revolt has transcended the boundaries of a single cause. “We are not here just for Zvërnec,” was the motto, underlining that the battle is against an entire governance model that is violating national interests and Albanian property.
