Another protest in the diaspora was that of Albanians in Florence, Italy, today.
Hundreds of Albanians have gathered in the Italian city, joining mass protests, while also demanding the resignation of the "Rama" government.
With red and black flags and banners with strong messages, Albanians in Florence have demanded the overthrow of the government and the immediate resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Protesters have raised their voices against abusive projects, demanding accountability and justice for the destruction of national assets in Albania, such as the Zvërnec project and beyond.
This rally in Florence comes at a very heated moment, as there is widespread coordination of the diaspora on a global scale, with similar protests taking place from Washington and London, to Berlin, Vienna and Milan, while in Tirana the civic revolt has taken to the streets en masse.
