"We will not stop fighting", Rama at the UN: The Council of Europe

Albania will not stop fighting for the purity of the liberation war of Kosovo and the review of the Resolution of the Council of Europe in support of the infamous report of the storyteller Dick Marty.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech yesterday at the United Nations General Assembly, asked this organization to accept Albania's request to submit a new report.

Rama:  I can't help but share with you a terrible example that should be a lesson for the whole world and first of all for the democratic world.

In 2011 the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe approved a report compiled by a zealous parliamentarian named Dick Marty accusing the KLA of the heinous crime of organ trafficking.

Mr. Marty should have been paid as a storyteller, but never trusted as a rapporteur for the Council of Europe. His report was shocking and not only did many believe it, but it became the key factor in fueling the idea and setting up specialized chambers of the Court for Kosovo. It became one of the worst cases of distorted reality, the kind of manifesto for worldwide propaganda against the independence of Kosovo. Every investigative effort during these 11 long years to prove these accusations, but in vain, not a single bit of evidence or indication was found anywhere in Kosovo or anywhere else related to the suspected organ trafficking. And yet, the specialized chambers for Kosovo that arose over this report while we speak have arrested the President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, without charge.

We think and hope that based on this lack of evidence, the Assembly of the Council of Europe will honor the truth and accept Albania's request to have a follow-up report while the damage is done and help restore the credibility of such an important organization. international.
