During his speech, DP leader Sali Berisha called on the Police to release the escorted protesters.

"We swear that with this battle, our last kilometer will be the deserved end of Edi Rama. I demand the immediate release of the 25 peaceful protesters, who absolutely have not committed any act and were taken there only as an act of hatred on the orders of Edi Rama. I ask the police stations to release them immediately," said Berisha.
