Prime Minister Edi Rama has traveled today to France for a private visit. Rama also took his son Zaho with him.

The head of government has chosen a plane to travel to Paris, since the visit is not under the official guise of the prime minister and according to state protocol, the head of government travels with Air Albania. The Prime Minister has chosen to travel in 'economy class' to France, sharing the flight with many other passengers.

Prime Minister Rama has often been at the center of criticism by the opposition for official travel with Air Albania, due to high financial costs, in contrast to the economic situation in the country and the standard of living of citizens.
