The Speaker of the Assembly, Niko Peleshi, has responded to the opposition's accusations regarding the postponement of the meeting of the Mandates Council on the Balluku case, for which SPAK is seeking his arrest.


"Postponement of the Council meeting in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Assembly. In the Council of Mandates, decisions are not made simply by majority, but every proposal of the members is valid. At the proposal of the members of parliament Taulant Balla and Bledi Çomo who requested to wait for the decision of the Constitutional Court, I postponed the meeting," he said.

We recall that yesterday the meeting of the Mandates Council was postponed to an unspecified date, until the decision is issued by the Constitutional Court.
