Another prefect resigns, here's who will replace him

The Prefect of the Kukës District, Agron Geca, has been relieved of his post, today by decision of the Council of Ministers.

Dritan Baji has been appointed in his place. The decision comes after the earlier removal from office of the prefects of Lezha, Durrës and Elbasan.

Decision:

DECISION ON THE RELEASE AND APPOINTMENT OF THE PREFECT OF THE KUKE DISTRICT

In support of Articles 100 and 114 of the Constitution and Article 5 of Law No. 107/2016, “On the District Prefect”, as amended, upon the proposal of the Minister of Interior, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

1. Mr. Agron Geca, prefect of the Kukës District, is relieved of this duty.

2. Mr. Dritan Baji is appointed prefect of the Kukës District.

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
