In a media appearance, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, answered Vox News' questions regarding several key issues that concern citizens in the country.

VoxNews: To date, 140 thousand immigrants have registered to vote, do you think these will be votes for the Democratic Party?

I'll be honest, the vote of Albanians abroad is their constitutional right. They are voters. Now in the digital age they can vote digitally, unfortunately the registration will be digital, and the vote will be by envelope, because the government controls portals like e-albania, and we did not accept it.

VoxNews: You have denounced a series of government scandals, but it seems that often no water is put on the fire, and there is no reaction. If you come to power, will you investigate every scandal you have denounced?

Scandals, absolutely one by one! And I want them to know that electoral criminals will be at the forefront of punishment. Electoral crime will be declared a serious crime, and corruption a serious crime. There will be exemplary punishments for these two criminal offenses. The filing for these two offenses will be removed. Therefore, I call on the administration employees not to prove themselves slaves of the thieving ministers who use their power for their own enrichment.

- Mr. Berisha, we are a few months away from the elections. There are rumors that you will nominate a candidate for prime minister, what is your comment on that?

I do not follow the actions of the opponent except for the fact that I have repeatedly invited him to face us in a television studio. He can't stand it, he is afraid of himself and knows that he will come out of that show figuratively naked with what he will prove to the Albanians about his deeds and that is the reason why he cannot come out. He also has problems with his memory. I have told him with a prompter, come on, but come to the debate, because the rules require it, the Albanians require it.

Remember! After I win the elections, a vote for prime minister will be opened. Whoever wants to challenge Sali Berisha, let them come out.  

If the British and US ambassadors tell you to leave and another candidate is elected, will you accept a deal?
