Monika Kryemadhi appeared today at the premises of the Criminal Court of Kosovo in compliance with the security measure of compulsory appearance.

Kryemadhi did not spare jokes with journalists, as he said: " Ina kissed Kejsi, when I said love with direction, you didn't believe me. Like here, justice with direction ."

Last year, the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime closed the investigations and sent former President Ilir Meta, his ex-wife Monika Kryemadhi, the latter's mother Fatime Kryemadhi, Pirro Xhixho and Ema Çoku for trial, as part of the investigation into corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets for the CEZ-DIA affair and lobbying in the US.

The SPAK investigation began in 2019 and expanded in subsequent years based on various reports, which were merged into a single one in 2024.
