The "Together We Win" coalition has brought to the Electoral College the decision of the Appeals and Sanctions Commission (KAS), which yesterday requested that Ilir Meta's name be on the ballot on May 14, rejecting the request that it be on the ballot the name of Sali Berisha.
However, it seems that the "Together We Win" coalition is persistently seeking Berisha's name on the ballot, and the coalition's representatives filed a lawsuit at the election court at noon this Thursday.
It was Enkelejd Alibeaj's Democratic Party that appealed to KAS the decision of Chief Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi, who called it a flagrant violation of the law not to name the leader of the coalition. They requested that it be Meta himself, since according to them this was stipulated in the agreement submitted at the beginning of the meeting to the CEC, which defined the Freedom Party as the leader of the coalition.
