The Constitutional Court has rejected Naureda Llagami's request to annul the decision of the Supreme Court, which declared Asim Vokshi the winner in the voting process for a member of the Constitutional Court.

Thus, Asim Vokshi is expected to be sworn in before the President of the Republic of Albania for his mandate in the Constitutional Court.

Llagami claimed to have secured a total of 9 votes, including one vote that the Supreme Court deemed invalid, based on two alleged signs of attempted influence on the result.

According to the rules, to be declared the winner, 3/5 of the votes were needed, and due to the invalidity of the vote, Asim Vokshi was automatically declared a member of the Constitutional Court, as he was first in the ranking of the Judicial Appointments Council.

Llagami requested that this vote be recognized as valid and the result be changed in her favor.

Meanwhile, the request for the immediate suspension of the voting result has been rejected.
