The Ethics Commission has convened to review the requests submitted by the Socialist Party regarding disciplinary measures against 29 members of the Democratic Party. All members whose expulsion is requested are present.

The Socialist Party has requested that the meeting be held behind closed doors, but opposition MPs claim that they are being unjustly excluded and want an open-door meeting. 

Korreshi: The meeting will have to be open. You are seeking to expel 29 opposition MPs without right. I request that you make the evidence available to us and that it be public.

According to the official request filed by the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, disciplinary measures are being sought against 29 opposition MPs, following incidents that occurred the day before in the plenary session of the Albanian Parliament.
