Richard Grenell, Donald Trump's special envoy for special missions, has reacted to a post by Prime Minister Edi Rama in The Hague, following his visit to former Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi.

Grenell has shared Rama's reaction and agrees with the head of the Albanian government, emphasizing that "Jack Smith is a disgrace."

"NATO ally and Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, dismisses Jack Smith's legal case against former President Thaçi in The Hague and shames Europeans for allowing this injustice to continue. Jack Smith is a disgrace. Rama is right," he wrote on social media.

We recall that earlier, Prime Minister Rama considered the trial against former KLA leaders as a grave injustice in the heart of Europe.

Rama described the Special Court as a building where the theater of shame of international justice is played out, emphasizing that Thaçi was kidnapped without trial or charge from the office of the President of the Republic.

While former federal special prosecutor Jack Smith is the prosecutor who filed charges against Hashim Thaçi, but also against Donald Trump when the latter finished his first term.

US Attorney Jack Smith, who was a senior prosecutor in the US Department of Justice, took over as chief prosecutor at the Specialist Prosecutor's Office in The Hague in September 2018, indicting Thaçi for war crimes and crimes against humanity.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Jack Smith, in a closed session before the US Congressional Judiciary Committee, defended his decisions and criminal investigations against President Donald Trump.
