The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, in an interview for the portal "Syri.net", called his trial criminal and a political hostage-taking. 

During the interview, Ilir Meta says that he bears no legal responsibility for any financial actions of my ex-wife and her relatives.

What would you say today about the 3 charges against you?

Ilir Meta : All three accusations are both shameful and absurd, but the open trial process will clarify it even for any mindwashed person.

First, CEZ-DIA is a fully adjudicated case where the rapporteur in the High Court, coincidentally, was Mr. Panda. The name Ilir Meta does not exist anywhere.

Likewise, the effective damage caused by DIA to the Albanian state, as the owner of 24% of CEZ shares, according to the Supreme Court, is almost 1.5 million euros. Meanwhile, this same Court has upheld the seizure of almost 4 million euros of Kastriot Ismail's accounts, since 2014.

So this is the only "affair" where the state has made a profit.

This matter was also tried at the Court of Arbitration in Vienna and at the end of this process, Mr. Tim Schreber, the representative of Clifford Chance, in the letter of thanks for the cooperation addressed to Mr. Gjiknuri, as Minister of Energy, and Mr. Adrian Çela as Director of OSHE, apologizes for any misinterpretation in the media regarding the name of the Speaker of the Parliament, Ilir Meta, and assures them that they have not seen any connection between Mr. Meta and the benefits or corrupt practices of the DIA administrators.

Meanwhile, SPAK did not care at all about the official criminal complaint of the High State Audit against the Rama Government regarding the economic damage caused to the state of 479 million euros, of which 95 million euros as the payment agreed in the agreement, 352 million euros as CEZ's arrears to the Albanian state, as a result of mismanagement from 2009-2012, and 32 million euros from the devaluation to zero of the value of 24% of the state's shares.

It has been 10 years since this criminal complaint was filed by the Albanian Supreme Audit Office for the loss of 479 million euros and does anyone know what happened to this investigation?
It is clear that for SPAK, the priority is not the recovery of hundreds of millions of euros forgiven, stolen from the Albanian people, but the implementation of Edi Rama's directives from the PS tribunes for the arrest of Mr. Berisha and Ilir Meta.

Lidhur me akuzën për lobimet, dua t’ju siguroj se qëllimisht SPAK ka dërguar letër-porosi për të mos zbuluar të vërtetën pasi midis LSI dhe GSIS ka një kontratë ligjore ku është mirëpërcaktuar çdo detaj në mënyrën më rigoroze për çdo pagesë dhe njoftim.

Nuk ekziston një kontratë midis Ilir Metës dhe GSIS por midis LSI dhe GSIS.
Nuk ekziston asnjë firmë e Ilir Metës, as në kontratë dhe as për ndonjë autorizimi për ndonjë pagesë pasi LSI ka patur një statut ligjor, se si kryheshin veprimet financiare dhe cili funksionar ishte përgjegjës për këto veprime.

Ju e dini se sot në SHBA nuk ka as “Bilal” dhe as McGonigal në burg, për marrëdhënie të paligjshme me Ilir Metën.
Të degradosh akuzën nga bllofi bombastik i 21 tetorit 2024 se Ilir Meta kishte paguar 1 milion dollar për të takuar Presidentin Trump, te pretendimet qesharake se ka paguar për të takuar Z. Palmer, një zyrtar i nivelit të ulët në Departamentin e Shtetit, është tragjikomike, pasi nuk kanë qenë të rralla rastet kur unë nuk pranoja të takohesha me të, jo thjesht se nuk përfaqësonte një nivel të lartë hierarkik, por sepse sillej si përfaqësues i “Ballkanit të Hapur” dhe jo i Departamentit të Shtetit.

Dhe kishte arsye të forta personale për këtë, për shkak të lidhjeve me Serbinë.
Kjo ishte arsyeja përse më telefononin për çështje të caktuara, zyrtarë të një niveli shumë më të lartë se ai.
Ndërsa për akuzën tejet absurd të pastrimit të parave mund t’ju them vetëm 2 fakte.
Së pari, megjithë investimin tendencioz, jo vetëm të SPAK-ut brenda vendit dhe kudo jashtë, sot e kësaj dite asnjë qindarkë nuk më është sekuestruar dhe as një metër katror.

Fakti i dytë është se analizën financiare e ka bërë një i punësuar në administratën e SPAK-ut, jashtë çdo standardi profesional dhe ligjor.

Unë nuk mbaj asnjë përgjegjësi ligjore për çdo veprim financiar, as të ish-bashkëshortes time, as të nënës së saj dhe as të kushërinjve dhe kushërirave të tyre, për aq kohë sa nuk kam patur asnjë dijeni për parregullsi nga ana e tyre.
Z. Dumani nuk mban përgjegjësi për shkeljen publike nga policia të urdhrave që firmos ai. Ndërsa unë ndryshe prej tij mbaj përgjegjësi për çdo urdhër dhe akt të nënshkruar nga unë, por jo nga të tjerët.

Përgjegjësia penale është individuale dhe jo kolektive.

Sa McGonigalë dhe Mogherinë do të shohim në të ardhmen, aq të mira qofshin.

A e mbani mend se sa shumë eurodeputetë dilnin në borderotë e Sorosit?

Are you optimistic that this judicial saga will end soon and what will be the impact on the Freedom Party?

Ilir Meta: This political and judicial conspiracy has been brewing for a long time, but I am confident in its shameful failure.

This is not a legal process against an individual, but a comprehensive conspiracy against the sovereignty of the Albanian people and our state.

I am very aware of the heavy historical burdens I have carried in the past, but I am even clearer about the heavier burdens I will carry in the future. That is why I "train" every day.

While the Freedom Party has a wonderful program, that of 5 Priorities for 4 million plus Albanians, which is in complete contrast to the narco-economy of "Rilindja".

Therefore, efforts must be increased to better explain each priority, while improving organization under the conditions of a mafia regime.

New people must be brought to the top of the Freedom Party structures, who have the courage and will to fight for Change and who are unblackmailable by the regime./syri
