Ilir Meta presents from prison the 10 PL proposals for education in Albania!

The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta , has made a post on his social network Facebook, where he presents 10 proposals from the Freedom Party to improve the state of education in our country.

Placed in prison for corruption and undeclared assets, Ilir Meta says that today education in our country has become a national emergency.

For this reason, he presents 10 concrete choices drafted by PL.

The Freedom Party offers concrete solutions to radically improve the state of Education in Albania:

. The adoption of a law on the floor level of investment in education and scientific research at the level of 5% of GDP.

Doubling teachers' salaries to reach the regional average.

Innovation will be funded above the European Union average.

. The main education laws will be approved by a qualified majority in the Assembly, including education strategies, programs, curricula and educational policies.

Teaching and science will be considered priority branches and will be financially supported.

. Priority investments in information technology branches.

Vocational Education will be subordinate to the Ministry of Education.

We will reform curricula with independent experts, free from any political influence.

We will implement the catering system in kindergartens and schools, according to the European model.

. Mandatory life insurance in nurseries, kindergartens and schools for every child.

The alarm raised by UNESCO about the urgent need to improve education funding and resource allocation proves once again what we have warned as the Freedom Party, that unfortunately today education in our country has become a national emergency.

The reduction in funding for education to only 3.1% of GDP, the lowest in the region and several times less than in 2010, the scandalous salary levels of teachers and lecturers who continue to require support at least as much as their colleagues in Kosovo, as well as the improper distribution of budgetary resources proves that for "Rilindja" education has never been a priority.

On the contrary, the deliberate, scandalous underfunding, which has led to a decline in the quality of education, is part of the anti-national agenda of depopulation to encourage the departure of young people to European countries for studies and of teachers and pedagogues for employment.

For the Freedom Party, education is a top national priority because we believe that the greatest investment for the future of Albania is investing in education, as the best solution to stop depopulation.
