The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted for the first time after the Supreme Court put him behind bars, stating that "we have taken another positive step."

The PL president said he will take the case to Strasbourg, expressing his belief that he will win.

Ilir Meta: May 11, the historic day when we will separate ourselves from the narco-regime and its narco-justice. Today, we took a positive step in the Meta case because we passed another fictitious obstacle, the Supreme Court that does not exist, in order to move faster towards the Strasbourg Court.

Without any doubt, we will win just as we won in the Venice Commission against Ramafora.
