Yesterday marked one of the largest protests since the fall of communism in Albania.

It was large in participation, but also peaceful and civil.

And contrary to analysts' predictions, it is already growing day by day.

But today, when asked by journalists about the protest the day before, the leader of the Socialist Party's parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, amateurishly gave credit to the Democratic Party.

"It wasn't a local protest. Yesterday, the entire DP was in protest. From the DP's protest champion, Sali Lusha, to half of the DP's parliamentary group."

"It started as a local protest for flamingos, but the owls are starting to feel like flamingos," Balla said.

To delegitimize the protest, Balla and the media close to the Government are feeding the idea that the protest is being dominated by the DP, giving undeserved credit to the latter.

This is a big lie, as there is a very small portion of democrats and the vast majority of the protesters are young people, who are shouting "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison."

Now Balla and the media close to the Government, instead of "raising eyebrows, they are poking eyes out" with their claim.

It is not known whether they are doing this on purpose or out of stupidity, but they are giving power to and making the Democratic Party bigger than it is.

Everyone has seen how many people the DP brought out in its protests.

No wonder, if the DP had organized such large protests, it would have overthrown Rama in time!
