Luxury flights? Rama: I don't travel on business class planes, they're
Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded to a commenter on social media regarding his travels abroad.

Rama stated that the business trips with the plane he had at his disposal were to reduce time and expenses. Rama said that with the agreement he had, not a single lek more was spent on the state than was spent on average each year by prime ministers.

"Travel, I swear if I had the opportunity to cut them with a knife and minimize them, I would minimize them with the greatest pleasure, because they are business trips, they are not pleasure trips. I find it difficult and I am surprised, what luxury flight?

All my private flights, with my family, even today as we speak, and all the time, I only fly in economy like everyone else, all of them. Business flights, with the plane I was able to have, are business flights, they are time-saving, cost-saving.

With the agreement we have for that plane, we do not spend a single lek more for the state than what is spent on average every year by prime ministers. Until the plane was there, the rule in my government has been and remains that members of the government, including me, do not travel on business, except for trips to the USA, which are long and normal. What are you talking about? Who do you listen to? How can you deal with these irrelevant chatter? When it comes to everyone's life, let's be very careful", he emphasized.
