Erion Braçe: Spiropali should not be expelled from the SP, but I did not like her letter

Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe has commented on the debate within the Socialist Party and Elisa Spiropali's public reaction to Prime Minister Rama, who has warned her that he will expel her from the Socialist Party for her "critical" reactions to the party.

Invited to "This Week", Braçe said that the meeting held at the PS lasted about four hours, while the discussion about Spiropali only took a few minutes, but refused to reveal details from the debate between her and Rama, saying that "household matters are not made public."

Asked whether Elisa Spiropali should be expelled from the SP, Braçe replied emphatically,  "No!"

"I think the SP has passed the stage where it can exclude people for different opinions," he said, while also commenting on its reaction to the prime minister on social media, which he said he did not like.

"I didn't like that status. I don't like anything that is outside and is launched like an arrow at any target within the SP, even if it is right," said the MP, while emphasizing that debates should be held face to face and not publicly.

Erion Braçe: The meeting lasted about four hours. And this story with Mrs. Spiropali was about 5-6 minutes. Home affairs are not made public. Home affairs are kept at home. I am the most rebellious, but I am also the longest-serving in the party. The longest-serving in the house, to be honest. And these people you see now have come after me.

Erion Braçe: No! I think the SP has passed the stage where it can expel people for having different opinions.

Erion Braçe: I didn't like it. But each of us has a moment that fills us up. I'm also filled up with the Municipality of Tirana, the word goes out.

That's why I said that these things are not solved by praying, nor by talking. Seek to become yourself and take it, solve it. Each of us has a moment that comes both for personal reasons, but also for reasons of the behavior of others in relation to us.

I do not like anything that is outside and is launched like an arrow towards any target within the SP, even if it is right. I like to be sitting there at the table, looking at the other person in front of me and saying to them in the eye: "Yes, you are wrong and you are wrong very seriously."
