Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Estonia today, where he will participate in the Lennart Meri 2026 Conference, one of the most important international forums for debate on foreign policy, security and global geopolitical challenges, organized this year under the motto "Fortune favors the brave."

Prime Minister Rama is invited to the opening panel, "A Bridge over Troubled Waters: The Next Chapter of Transatlantic Cooperation", alongside Euro-Atlantic leaders and senior representatives, where the discussion will focus on the future of the transatlantic partnership, strengthening NATO's European pillar, global security challenges, and Ukraine's role in the new European security architecture.

In a joint conference with the Estonian Prime Minister, Rama said that Albania expects to learn from Estonia regarding artificial intelligence, as according to him, Estonia is a world brand in this regard.

"I brought you the sun from Albania. I want to express my gratitude for finally being allowed to visit this city that I have imagined as a laboratory that is written every day. I want to tell the Estonians that we have complete admiration for them because they have not decided to live in a museum but in the future. Little Albania needs such examples. I thank you for the warm hospitality and I want to say that I was surprised that you had such good food here, something I did not expect.

We ask for your cooperation and guidance, and you told us that our people are welcome to come and learn from you, especially in the education system. To give children the tools to move the country forward. We want our path to 2030 to be paved with the same innovation that has made Estonia a global brand. We also aim to move forward with artificial intelligence. I can't wait to introduce our minister. We have no sympathy for Putin in Tirana, you will feel at home.
