"We wore it with power", Gazment Bardhi: Ilir Meta took the councilors

The head of the parliamentary group of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, has called scandalous the fact that many of the councilors who won from the "Together We Win" coalition actually belong to Ilir Meta, but won the mandates with the votes of the Democrats.

Invited to MCN, Bardhia charged this blunder to Berisha and his group, that instead of accepting that the primaries candidates compete with the PD logo, he led the votes of the Democrats to the Freedom Party, which today has the majority advisers.

" The scandal is that Ilir Meta has the councilors with the votes of the Democrats. I have been screaming demanding that the candidates come out with the DP logo. In Elbasan there are 12 councillors, 7 are from the Freedom Party and 5 are Democrats.

We have always, for our mistakes and angers, clothed Ilir Meta with power. Ilir Meta took power and handed it to Edi Rama.

In Tirana, how many councilors are PD and how many PL? It's a 10-5 ratio. We offered three options, how to come up with a candidate. Berisha decided to go to Ilir Meta, but we told the primary candidates to register in the Democratic Party ," Bardhi declared.
