Donald Trump in Albania? Prime Minister Rama gives the news: Here's when he is expected to arrive in our country!

Donald Trump/Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama has announced that US President-elect Donald Trump, who takes office on January 20, 2025, will visit Albania.

The head of government stated that the US President will arrive in our country in 2027, together with the leaders of the Euro-Atlantic alliance for the NATO Summit to be held in Albania.

" Even more unthinkable until a few years ago is hosting the NATO summit in 2027, something for which we have begun work together with NATO, a mission to inspect the conditions of infrastructure and logistics in Tirana, which would have been impossible in Tirana before the government in alliance with the Municipality of Tirana built everything it has built in this decade."

The arrival of the US President and NATO leaders in Tirana is a clear message to everyone regarding Albania, with our new political position in the international arena.

"We are a small country with modest weight, but today we are treated as equals, not only in a formal sense, but with a respect that we have never had before in our history ," said Rama.
