Lawyer Ylli Manjani commented on the statement of Tirana Mayor Erion Veliaj that an anonymous letter from a person who does not exist was reported to SPAK.
According to him, if the report was made by an anonymous person who should not exist, then the process against Veliaj is irregular.
" When a prosecutor receives a report, the first thing he does is find out who filed the report, verify who the person is who filed the report, call them once and ask them what they think about the case."
Under the conditions of anonymity, the prosecutor had knowledge that it is certainly true if it is as it is said, and providing this information to the person you have questioned is ethically and professionally improper.
In today's SPAK practice, we have seen popular informants who know everything, they are sophisticated informants, introduced by others, perhaps even by SPAK itself, this is the justice of espionage.
"Basically, every criminal process must have someone in front of you, the one who denounces you must be in front of you. If it is true that Nesti Angoni is Veliaj's accuser, it is an irregular process, only if he brought real materials there ," Manjani told Euronews Albania.
