The Government has approved a new decision on the transfer of ownership of a state property to Tirana, in view of an important investment project for culture and public infrastructure.

According to the decision taken at the meeting of the Council of Ministers, by order of Prime Minister Edi Rama and in his absence, by Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, the property number 7/74 in cadastral area 8160, Tirana, is transferred from the Municipality of Tirana to the administration of the Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation.

This property is located in the area where the Palace of Congresses is located, and its transfer aims to realize the investment project "Revitalization of the Palace of Congresses", one of the most iconic buildings for cultural and institutional life in the capital.

The decision also provides that the property in question will be removed from the inventory list of public immovable properties of the Municipality of Tirana, a list that was initially approved by decision no. 834, dated 13 December 2006, and which has undergone changes over the years.

For the implementation of this decision, the following are tasked with:

Agency The decision comes into force immediately and will be published in the "Official Gazette".
