The son of the candidate of the Socialist Party in Has was filmed by a resident of the area loading several boxes into a car during the hours of yesterday evening.
According to the whistleblower, the son of the candidate of the Socialist Party in Has, Beqir Mulaj, is preparing to buy votes, and the packages he is loading are food.
He was filmed taking the packages out of a school and loading them into the car.
Today, the candidate of the Socialist Party for the municipality of Has, Halit Mulaj, reacted to the accusations.
In the reaction made, Halit Mulaj writes that yesterday evening, being also the holy night of 'Qadr', packages were distributed which are traditionally given every year for this holy evening for Muslim believers.
He said his political rival was exaggerating the incident by presenting it as vote buying.
"On this KADRI night I want to express all my regret, all my disgust and indignation, not only mine, towards my rival, that some traditionally annual packages are given on this blessed night, he is exaggerating it as buying votes. I am ashamed and I tell you frankly that I cannot understand all this exaggeration!", writes the SP candidate.
While at the end of his reaction, he called for the Hasian citizens to massively reject the candidacy of Miftar Dauti.
"The only thing I understand in this whole story is that, my rival is being very small, which I didn't know is at this level!! My dear friends, I don't want to deal with trifles, I leave it to you, dear Hasian, to massively reject this trifle on May 14, Apologizing for this reaction forced by the negative behavior of the rival", concludes Dauti in his reaction.
Yesterday evening, in the city of Kruma, Miftar Dauti stopped a van owned by Halit Mulaj's son, accusing the latter of distributing food aid in exchange for the residents' votes in the May 14 local elections.
